Compliance Consulting Inc is a service organization that includes all aspects of product safety and compliance with domestic and international standards. This organization provides the following services: a. Evaluation of the client’s product(s) to relevant domestic or international standards, as required, and offer assistance in insuring that the product meets these relevant requirements, including assistance in determining materials and electrical components. b. Create product safety reports, including photographs and other relevant attachments. c. Develop test programs and determine sample requirements. d. Provide suggestions for the safety statements to be included in the instruction manual. e. Represent the client at the safety agency to insure approvals are obtained in a timely manner and without complications. f. Provide assistance in preparing for Initial Plant Inspections, as needed. g. Provide in-house training in basic product safety, as required. The focus of this training is to provide engineers and designers with an awareness of basic product safety. The training provides segments on UL/CSA standards, polymeric materials used for enclosures and insulations, and IEC standards. The seminar may be tailored to the particular needs of the group. h. Provide assistance in establishing a system for tracking agency projects and costs. i. Provide assistance in preparing a Certified Test Laboratory according to ISO 17025 guidelines. j. Provide witnessing for substantiation testing of manufacturer’s and competitive products per ASTM standards.
